*** Latest Real Estate News *** The 2010 CA New Home and First Time Home Buyer Tax Credit was activated on May 1st. $200 million has been allocated - $100 Million for new home purchases and the other $100 million is setup for first time home buyers. The funds will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. This credit is not a refund - like the feeral tax credit which ended April 30th - but will result in a reduction or elimination of state taxes over a three-year period. There are no income limitations and buyers must reside in the home for at least two years. When CA enacted the last home buyer credit, the $100 million funds were completed allocated in just five months. Buyers who want to participated in this program need to make a home purchase and apply now! Beginning February 1st, 2010, HUD will suspend the current FHA 90 Day Flipping Rule, providing buyers using FHA loans access to more homes available for purchase!
